ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work
I am a passionate and dedicated human rights advocate with a strong background in legal aid, civic education, and the protection of vulnerable communities. Over the years, I have volunteered with several respected organizations, each role deepening my commitment to justice, equality, and the dignity of all people.
My journey began at the Uganda Human Rights Commission, where I actively supported efforts to uphold and monitor the protection of human rights across the country. I later joined ACTV (Advocates for Coalition Against Torture), contributing to advocacy campaigns and support services for victims of torture, focusing on awareness-raising and prevention strategies.
As part of the Legal Aid Project of the Uganda Law Society, I engaged in extensive community sensitization and civic education initiatives, championing the rights of minority and marginalized groups. This work involved outreach to underserved communities, empowering individuals with knowledge about their constitutional rights and avenues for legal redress.
Most recently, I served with the High Profile Case Unit (HPCU) of the Uganda Law Society, working on complex and sensitive legal matters with national implications. Through this role, I gained significant experience in legal research, case coordination, and advocacy at higher levels of judicial engagement.
Now, I am focused on humanitarian work with a people-centered approach, striving to leave a lasting impact on my society. My mission is to help as many individuals as possible access justice, especially those whose voices are often ignored or silenced. I believe in justice without borders and continue to pursue this work with unwavering passion and purpose.
